As you step inside, the inviting aroma of freshly brewed tea and the warm ambiance envelops you, creating a perfect environment to relax and enjoy a meal. This cafe is particularly well-known for its authentic Burmese cuisine, specifically its signature noodle dishes. The မြေအိုးမြီးရှည် မြီးရှည်ခေါက်ဆွဲ (long noodle soup) topped with tender meat and fresh vegetables is a sumptuous dish that captures the essence of Mandalay's culinary scene at just MMK 6,500. Each spoonful is a comforting embrace, with rich flavors that dance on your palate.

If you’re in the mood for something simpler yet equally delightful, don’t miss out on their Hot Milk, a creamy treat that starts at MMK 3,300, or the refreshing စီလုံတီး, a traditional Burmese tea infused with milk, priced at MMK 4,500. As many satisfied customers attest, the beverages here—particularly the tea—are the perfect accompaniment to the cafe's array of delightful pastries and steamed buns. Customer Eugene Suryono Kohar notes the cafe was "a lifesaver" after a late-night arrival, where he enjoyed a "tasty mohinga," a beloved traditional dish.

Reviews from other visitors echo similar sentiments, with Martin Deen praising the tea and pastries, served in a unique style allowing you to be charged only for what you eat. Meanwhile, JD Lai enjoyed a satisfying combination of noodle dishes and Chinese meatballs, all for a fantastic price of MMK 6,700. The quality of the food and the convenience of this cafe do not go unnoticed—it's no surprise that it has gained a loyal following among both locals and tourists.

Not only does the cafe offer a rich selection of dishes, but it also fosters a sense of community with its welcoming environment. With its close proximity to the Mandalay Railway Station, Man Myodaw is a practical choice for weary travelers seeking a hearty meal before or after a journey.

Whether you find yourself in need of a cozy place to recharge or are eager to indulge in genuine Burmese fare, Man Myodaw is a must-visit in Mandalay. Step in, savor the flavors, and enjoy an authentic taste of Myanmar that’s sure to enhance your journey.

Liked the tea, steamed buns and pastries. The pastries are placed in front of you and they charge you for what you eat. Would recommend for sure.

Must try the tasty steamed pork (check picture) and the buns; each piece 600MKK. It goes along with milk tea 500MKK. A can of coke is 700MKK. They have an English menu. During the morning they serve Mohinga, traditional Myanmar food for breakfast, which is a fish you must taste while in the country.
